Good evening everybody,

Here's a quick look at what's coming to you shortly:

She's not quite finished yet, this is just the first iteration of the new exterior model and the textures of the Transcontinental and Western Vega 5. As you can see, the model has a new engine cover with a more narrow cowling. Many hours went into this transformation, so I hope you approve

Ohhhh and new cowl?
I was thinking it will be only the repaint, not the new 3D model! Really great!
Thx Vitus!

btw. do You think about changes on the tail for early Vega? ( https://i.pinimg.com/736x/3a/67/79/3a67 ... 7a032a.jpg )

I can't believe you noticed this.
With every new iteration of the Vega, Lockheed enlarged the stabilizer and rudder. For this time, no. The tail section will stay as it is for now. Maaaaaaaaaybe if I find some time in the future I might get to fix it.

Hey Chris,
haha I never heard that expression before. Don't worry, it won't be too long of a wait (or so I hope.... :? )

Yea it was to do with horses.the bit was the thing in their mouth to which the reins were attached and when they wanted to go they chewed or champed on the bit.Hence the expression.

That Townend cowl is awesome!

Perhaps someday the cowl's will be an option--we can pick which cowl to install--none, Townend, or NACA?
