Tribute Flight - Gorlitz to Spremberg Welzow: Part 3

Post by mthrift » 14 Apr 2019, 23:01

As a small thanks to Otmar for the Vega, here are some screenshots of a flight I made from Gorlitz (EDBX) to Spremberg Welzow (EDCY). Pretty country, and more water than I would have expected!

Man, there's something just photogenic about your shots! How was your landing?

If I remember, not too bad. As you can probably tell, it got a little gusty just as I was settling down.

For me though, with the Vega, it's the take-offs that are the big challenge!

She definitely need a boot full of rudder. It’s even scarier when you got that big cowling version like you had. The vision from the cockpit is the equivalent of being in a locked room.
