Re: Request a feature

I'll have a look at it when I find the time. As you know my current focus is on system simulation. I wasn't aware that there was something native in P3D, so I'll definitely put it on my list ;)

Re: ChasePlane views?

I'm using Chaseplane as well and set up a few views. Nothing fancy, just a replacement for the default views and some external cameras. I just shared my camera settings in the community tab, but I saw that there's also camera definitions by MD67, which pop up when you search for "Wing42".

Re: failures

Hi Chris, Thank you for your feedback. I lowered the probability of the blockage of all three barometric ports (static, cockpit, pitot) to now 10% of what it was before. So, with the new update it should be far less likely for you to encounter this problem. As for the starter, this is an entirely di...

Re: Heat exchange and electrical system

Hey Ric, that's very interesting. Thanks a lot for your detailed analysis. I'll try to recreate some of your experiences and try to adjust the heat model to prevent this in the future. As I mentioned in the release notes of the last update: there's still a lot of tweaking required to get the numbers...

Re: Request a feature

TrueGlass would be very cool, but I don't think that Wing42 can afford the license for it. I think the Vega will have to stick to normal, boring, unresponsive plexiglass for now. And maaaaaan, I'd love to fly the variant with the floats. The only issue I have with it is that I currently know nothing...

Re: Heat exchange and electrical system

Hi Ric, Thank you so much for your kind words, it's wonderful to hear that you're having such a great time with the airplane. As for the issues you found: 1. The thing about the heat-exchange module is that the calculations are all based on real physics, so the way the heat is being transferred from...

I enjoy to see in the future passengers & pilot - that will be great...
I know. It bothers me as well. But I consider the engine simulation more essential at this point. My priorities at the moment are: 1. engine -> 2. sound -> 3. visuals
But don't worry, it'll come!

Re: Comments after 4 more flights

When de-boarding, chocks are automatically installed before passengers begin de-boarding, then taken out for about 2 seconds, than put back in again while passengers de-bark (is that a word?)..then taken out again after door closes. Same with baggage unloading. hmm.... yes. That has something to do...
