Re: To-do list for 0.9

Hey Speedy! Thanks for the suggestion. I did that, and one-upped it with a short youtube video as well :-)

Re: Another preview - meet Jack!

Hi Butch, Yes, just like with the previous updates, v0.9 is included in your purchase and the file in Download section will automatically updated for all previous customers. I think it'll be a few more weeks until we're done with Jack - there are so many malfunctions and for each of those there need...

I finished up the Winnie Mae. She's now fully functional and with the upcoming update, you'll be able to fly her around the word! Re: extremely strange

Hi Dangerdan, Welcome to the forum! This is some strange behavior, but as far as I can tell, this issue didn't pop up for anyone else. So my first guess would be that there might be something interfering on your end, hence my first question would be: do you run any software that intercepts the airra...

Re: Engine sound preview

Well spotted Michael! I added a bunch of sounds to the Vega. The rumbling on the takeoff roll is also linked to vibrations and the acceleration of the aircraft. So, you'll also hear the rattle when the engine runs rough or if you perform some abrupt maneuvers. There's also another set of sounds whic...

Re: New Microsoft Flight Simulator coming in 2020

We'll see how much of what MS promises will actually come to life when they release the new Flight Simulator. I'd say developers flock wherever their customers drag them to, since that's the only way to generate revenue and the move to P3D makes sense considering that with every new version, Prepar3...

Re: Engine sound preview

There will be some major changes to the electrical system. What affects the spool-up time is battery charge and the resulting voltage. As the battery depletes, the motor will spin slower, taking more time to spin up that wheel. You could just leave the battery cart connected to assist in the start up.

Re: New Microsoft Flight Simulator coming in 2020

I think the big question will be whether or not they'll open the platform for 3rd party developers again. That'll ultimately make the difference between "Microsoft Flight Game" and "Microsoft Flight Simulator".
