Re: New Microsoft Flight Simulator coming in 2020

There's a new development update on the FS2020 website. It actually sounds surprisingly promising. There will be an SDK accessible in August. And it seems like the team is actually reading AVSIM and reddits r/flightsim.

Vintage tachometers

Good afternoon, I'm currently composing one of the last tables of malfunctions for the Vega and got stuck with one question: what type of tachometer would a 1920s Vega have installed? aircraftsystemstech.com lists a couple of mechanisms used for the tachometer and I really don't know what's appropri...

Re: Another preview - meet Jack!

Hi guys, Thanks for your support! We're getting closer to finish and hence there won't be an intermediate release - it takes a long time to prepare everything for an update and I rather spend more time working on the aircraft itself. I want to let you know that the upcoming version will probably con...

Re: Why does this take soooo looong?

So far, we finished implementing: - Electrical malfunctions - Barometric malfunctions (pitot/static ports, altimeter, vsi, asi) - Vacuum malfunctions (pump, lines, relief valve, ah, dg, t&b) - Fuel system malfunctions (leaks, contamination, pump failures, cracked seals) - Ignition malfunctions (magn...

Re: Why does this take soooo looong?

We are about half-way there with the implementation of malfunctions. The current count is 97. Meaning that the Vega can fail in 97 different ways. I will count on all of you to help me balance the reliability and frequency of those malfunctions by putting a lot of hours into the ship once update 0.9...

Re: Why does this take soooo looong?

Maybe one more quick remark about the roadmap of the Vega. With 0.90, the Lockheed Vega will contain all the features of the full version. However, due to the amount of new system introduced with that update, I do expect that you guys will find a bug or two. Therefore, the period between 0.90 to the...

Why does this take soooo looong?

Just a quick heads-up to all of you who are patiently waiting for v.0.9. I want to give you a bit of an insight what's going on behind the scenes right now. If you follow the To-do-list for v.0.9 , you'll know that, besides a bunch of other cool things, the next update will finally bring more compre...

Re: 0.85 Starting Issues

Hi Niskan, Welcome to the forum! One reason for this could be that the battery voltage is too low. Try connecting the external battery and try starting the engine with the cart attached. If that solves the problem, make sure to fully charge the battery by flying for half an hour or longer with the g...

Re: To-do list for 0.9

Hey Speedy! Thanks for the suggestion. I did that, and one-upped it with a short youtube video as well :-)
