Re: Engine sound preview

That sounds excellent, Otmar! A significant improvement over the temporary soundpack I installed. Nice and "throaty" and it sounds more appropriately loud in the cockpit. Love it. Also, did I hear some extra frame/landing gear sounds as you made your way down the runway? Really adds to the immersion...

Re: Tribute Flight - Gorlitz to Spremberg Welzow: Part 3

If I remember, not too bad. As you can probably tell, it got a little gusty just as I was settling down.

For me though, with the Vega, it's the take-offs that are the big challenge!

Re: Tribute Flight - Gorlitz to Spremberg Welzow: Part 2

Re: Decide on the next liveries

Here's another vote for G-ABGK, or any UK/European registered aircraft. Would be really nice to have an appropriately registered livery for touring the UK and the continent.

Thanks!

Re: 0.85 Starting Issues

I had good luck over the weekend with getting her going with the starter. Having the components checked out prior to flight has helped. One thought occurred through all this. I've found the inertial starter to be quite difficult to hear - at least for the first 15 seconds. Would it be possible for y...

Re: Oil issues

I had been following this exchange because I had been experiencing oil issues myself - high temps, low pressure, etc. I had not thought about being out of oil, but checked it over the weekend and found it to be empty (with no idea how it happened)! So, I filled it up with SAE 30, took a flight, and ...

Re: Carb Heat

With all that, though, I believe (at least it seems to for me) that if you use the (default) FSX key assignment of "h", you will move the Blower lever to the "full" position and engage Carb heat. Clicking it again toggles the lever back again.
